Question: What is the recommended way to apply Poultice?
Poultice can be applied alone or with bandaging. Ensure the area is thoroughly rinsed and clear of chemicals, dirt, debris, or of any previous application. Apply generous coat of Poultice directly to affected area limbs, joints, tendons, hoof wall, or frog. Do not exceed 24 hours. Rinse thoroughly with water. Reapply if necessary.
- *For serious cases or injury inflammation management apply generously to affected area; cover with cotton bandage. then wrap bandage with ceran or cling wrap finishing with velcro bandage or polo.
Question: How to treat a abscess or stone bruise?
Apply poultice to generously to frog, coronet, and surrounding effected area, and wrap well with co-ban (vet wrap) repeat daily until pocket is drawn out and is relieved.

Question: Can I use Poultice together with other products?
Our Poultice should be used free of all other foreign materials in the areas its being applied. Horses can continue to be treated with antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs, or supplements either orally or in their designated usual manner, providing they are kept separate from treated area. Do not use Poultice in combination with other medications or liniments locally used.
